I love mythbusters I watched it through college and I still watch clips on UA-cam, actually a few months ago the discovery channel had uploaded full episodes of mythbusters and I watched so many and then one day they just got removed someone else uploaded them as well and immediately got them removed as well I love this show I wanna rewatch them again

Mythbusters was incredible. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like it, and I can’t think of any other show I can say that for.

If I remember hearing right, Mythbuster’s camera crew went from filming Mythbusters over to filming Top Gear America with Adam Ferrara, Rutledge Wood, and Tanner Foust. Also the B Team had their own TV show on Netflix called White Rabbit Project. It was just as awesome.

As a stay at home dad, when I discovered the extreme coupon show I thought, “Hey maybe I can see something that would benefit my family.” Watched a couple episodes and was shocked by the pantries crammed full of the least healthy foods imaginable. Nobody needs to be drinking and eating the amount of junk food these couponers are shown buying. You should have mentioned the Extreme Cheapskates, saw an episode where some people refused to do upkeep on their home cause it was a waste of resources. Only to have to pay to have everything fixed so they could sell it. They might as well have fixed it for their own benefit since they had to pay to fix it for the next person they sold it to.

My favorite myth is the exploding canned pastry dough one.

One of my favorite Mythbusters moments, which you did include footage of in the video but didn't talk about, was when the Build Team was testing a bunch of proposed uses for the Bagdhad Battery, specifically the idea that it was used for religious purposes. In order to test it they build a replica of the Ark of the Covenant and using the battery to run an electrical current through it, whose circuit would be completed when someone put their hands on both of the decorative angels on top. The myth was busted because the batteries didn't produce enough juice to provide a noticeable zap, but they didn't let it end there: The Build Team then hooked the Ark up to the power source for an electrified fence, and then tricked Adam to complete the circuit without telling him about the change in power. I think that was the only time you ever saw Adam get legitimately pissed off at someone on the show...

As much as I hate every single thing about TLC, the one thing that’s so satisfying to watch for me is “Big” Ed’s inability to get a girl. He’s a gross egg of a person who expects that the channel successfully supplies him a girl and that the girl would choose him and his slimy self like how the hot guys always managed to get their own girls… But he just never expects that women have standards and brains, resulting in him getting turned down in the worst ways possible. It’s just something so wonderful to watch happen to a delusional and disgusting person.

I think the episode that really speaks to what Mythbusters really meant for the scientific community was their episode on the Pepsi and Mentos fountain. This wasn't a myth they were trying to prove or disprove...they knew that this was a real phenomenon that occurs. Instead the episode focused entirely on answering the question of "why does this work?" This was the first episode of Mythbusters I ever saw, and it was shown to me in a high school science class. This episode really helped to break down the scientific process and made the idea of doing experiments more exciting and palatable to us high school students after seeing this episode!
